The Story :: Concept and Philosophy
Accessories both expressive and unexpected.
Austin's Eliza Page fills its modern cases with fine jewelry that surpasses seasonal fashion and short-lived trends. These are the new classics, hand-selected from small-batch designers around the country. These are the go-to day and night pieces of heirloom quality.
Nestled in Austin's emerging downtown, Eliza Page promises a hands-on experience; cases are set at eye level, allowing the jewelry, belts, and bags to be easily handled and viewed. Educating shoppers about the techniques, materials, and specialties of each line, the boutiques stocks a collection of treasures ranging in price and style, yet all made with a penchant for craftsmanship.
Eliza Page is a large part of Austin's jewelry scene, as more than half of their offerings are designed by city natives, selecting the finest talent from Austin's creative pool.
The Owner :: Biography
Owner Elizabeth Gibson has melded her professional experience with a lifetime love of jewelry-wearing and making.
Educated in lost-wax casting and metal-smithing, Elizabeth says that knowledge aids her buying, especially in working directly with her designers. She often acts in a creative capacity, editing pieces and sketching concepts to suit her customer.
Prior to Eliza Page, Elizabeth worked for a few of Austin's most progressive agencies in marketing, production, and project management capacities for national and regional lifestyle and fashion companies.
In addition, she worked on projects for many Austin non-profits, and continues to dedicate many resources to Austin's charitable organizations throughout the year.
the boutique :: design, architecture, and display
Eliza Page called up a team of two of Austin's finest designers to envision the contemporary jewel box. Situated in the lively live-eat-shop environs of Austin's 2nd Street District, the boutique is a collaboration between local architect Kevin Gallaugher and interior designer Kasey McCarty, both with experience at the nationally acclaimed Dick Clark Architecture. They joined forces on the floor-to-ceiling project, having worked on high profile Austin eateries, residences, and salons.
Sidewalk shoppers enter through the glass doors into a smart, crisp space, more of a gallery than a store. The custom-made cases, shelves, and tables act as a blank canvas for the accessories and reflect the aesthetic of the modern, well-crafted items.
Glasspaneled nooks line the walls at eye level, showcasing the fine jewelry lines, while a long, rectangular table dominates the center of the space and displays more fashion-forward lines, with everything displayed in order to be effortlessly viewed and easy to try on.
the collection :: jewelry lines
Eliza Page is Austin's exclusive dealer to artful lines made across the country and Austin's emerging designers. Thoughtful design and great care are put in to each item, and Eliza Page is proud to support each artists' work.
