Carol Workinger began designing jewelry in 1999, following a successful career in fashion and advertising. Her intuitive sense of style allows her to create pieces that go beyond trend and are timeless for modern women of any age. Formally trained as a goldsmith, her work combines traditional knowledge and classical technique. Drawing inspiration from mid-century masters, she constantly explores the relationship between the precious and the everyday, brining unique sensibility to her work.
Carolina jewelry has appeared on the pages of Elle, Harper's Bazaar and the New York Times Magazine and is available in upscale galleries, boutiques, and department stores nationwide. Carolina has been worn by several well known celebrities including Cameron Diaz, Sting, Sheryl Crow and Phoebe Cates.
Carol lives in Manhattan and oversees all aspects of design and production in her New York studio. |
