Cinco De Mayo (May 5th in Spanish), is celebrated nationwide in the United States and Mexico. Mostly it is a celebration of Mexican pride and heritage but historically it is to commemorate the cause of freedom and democracy during the American Civil War. Either way, this celebration always includes delicious treats, fun paper decorations, loud music and colorful fashion!
