RECOMMENDED JEWELRY CARE, POLICIES, & WARRANTIES

Eliza Page fine jewelry is crafted with care and precision, making it delicate and requiring proper handling. Remember: Just as you wouldn’t go jogging in fine high heels or cowboy boots, your delicate jewelry requires mindful wear. Improper handling may result in damage, leading to repair or replacement costs. Please review the following to preserve the beauty and longevity of your jewelry.

Recommended Jewelry Care:

  • Remove before sleeping.
  • Avoid exposure to extreme temperatures, water, including pools, oceans, and showers.
  • Keep away from lotions, perfumes, sanitizers, cleaning solvents, beauty products, and especially chlorine.
  • Store in a dry, dust-free place, ideally in its original pouch or box, separate from other materials to prevent scratching.

Cleaning & Special Care:

  • Clean with Eliza Page jewelry cleaner, or a mild dish soap and warm water (avoid this for malachite, turquoise, and pearls, opals).
  • Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasives, or excessive soaking.
  • Use a soft brush for small crevices and a gentle cloth for metal surfaces.
  • Handle cuff bracelets, beaded jewelry, and hinged pieces with care to prevent damage.
  • Enamel pieces should not be exposed to harsh chemicals or extended time in water.

Metal & Gemstone Properties & Care:

  • Gold (14k, 18k) & Sterling Silver: Strong materials, but should avoid impact and distortion.
  • Diamonds: Highly resilient, however diamond slices are fragile.
  • Sapphires & Rubies: Durable and resistant to impact.
  • Tourmalines: Strength varies based on inclusions—more inclusions mean greater fragility.
  • Emeralds: Extremely delicate; avoid heat and impact.
  • Moonstones: Heat resistant but prone to impact damage.
  • Opals: Opals are very fragile and require extra care and caution when wearing. Doublet and bezel-set opals are sensitive to heat and water—do not submerge.

Ring Resize Policy:

  • Your first ring resize is complimentary within 30 days of purchase.
  • Further resizes may incur a fee.
  • After resizing, rings are considered final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.
  • We recommend sizing your finger multiple times before finalizing your order.

Jewelry  Warranty, Care, and Appraisal:

  • We offer free repairs during the first year for polishing, cleaning, and tiny gemstone replacements.
  • Repairs not covered under our warranty may incur a fee after one year. See warranty exclusions below.
  • Damage to center stones or settings due to improper wear or accidents is not covered.
  • Repairs or alterations by a third party will void the warranty.
  • If a repair or resizing requires designer assistance, fees may apply, and you may request the opportunity to review and approve them before work begins.
  • We recommend insurance coverage on your jewelry from Jewelers Mutual or Zillion.
  • We offer a complementary jewelry insurance replacement statement of value for all your jewelry, including all engagement and wedding rings, and insurance appraisals for your heirloom jewelry remakes.
  • Certified appraisals are $150 for other jewelry items for insurance purposes.

Warranty Exclusions:

The following defects and damages are not covered under our warranty and will incur repair or replacement fees:
